這週帶孩子認識字母Pp

介紹的語彙有：peek-a-boo, pizza,  pass the ball, penguin, popcorn, pop

首先帶入繪本Peek-a-Boo

這是一本很簡單的繪本，從頭到尾就只有

Peek-a-boo! Look at ____. Peek-a......Boo!

本來想直接帶童謠及動作，但覺得畫風很可愛，孩子應該會喜歡。

唸故事時，發現孩子很喜歡"Boo!"的語氣與動作。

Rhyme: Peek-a-Boo

Peek, （把兩手遮在臉前，向一邊偷看）

Peek, （再往另一邊偷看）

Peek-a-boo. （把手分開，往中間偷看）

Peek, （把兩手遮在臉前，向一邊偷看）

I see you! （把手分開，往中間偷看）

五月份介紹Pease Porridge Hot給幼兒英語童謠班的孩子

這首童謠有不同的版本，以下是我帶的版本

Pease porridge hot,

Pease porridge cold,

Pease porridge in the pot

Nine days old.

Some like it hot,

Some like it cold,

Some like it in the pot

Nine days old.

將童謠介紹給孩子前，先唸繪本給孩子聽

Picture Book: Eat Your Peas!

這週介紹字母Oo，

主要單字有: orange, over, octopus, owl, on 

Picture Book: Oragne Pear Apple Bear

Activity: Over and Under

請孩子make a cirlce或是make a line，根據指令pass the orange over or under

前幾天逛麥克網站時，在「新品上架」欄位看到這本書，

點進去一看，看到作者Julia Donaldson和他的先生一起唱歌的影片，

歌曲旋律非常好聽，一聽就會讓人不由自主地跟著大聲唱著

The cow said, "Moo!" The hen said, "Cluck!"

"Hiss!" said the goose. "Quack!" said the duck.

"Neigh!" said the horse. "Oink!" said the hog.

"Baa!" said the sheep. And "Woof!" said the dog.

And the old cat miaowed while the young cat purred.

But the ladybird said never a word.

這週介紹的字母是Letter Nn: nest, not, numbers, nine, no

依照慣例用歌曲"Let's Sing Hooray for Nn"介紹單字nest。

因為已經唱了一陣子，孩子已經願意開口跟著唱，很開心！

(歌詞之前po過了，只要將單字的部分替換掉即可)

Picture Book: 

書中從頭到尾就只有三個句子，孩子很快就能跟讀。

Where can I build a nest?

Not here! / Here!

因為之後還會介紹"NO"，所以除了原本的文字外，

隨著每頁的圖片，加入問句：Can I build a nest on the chimney?

讓孩子回答："Yes!" 或 "No!"

上週介紹過「媽媽是我的英文老師」

這週來介紹「用有聲書輕鬆聽出英語力」

每每家長問：「要如何在家幫學齡前的孩子複習英文？」

我總是回答：「唸英文繪本、跟著孩子一起唸唱童謠就可以了！」

這時家長又說：「可是我的英文不好，怕會影響孩子的發音。」

或是「我的聲音表情沒辦法像老師一樣。」

互動後，發現多數的家長太過謙虛與多慮了！

只要願意事先花時間準備，學齡前的英文繪本不會太難的。

自從汪培庭的「培養孩子的英文耳朵」後，

台灣的書商引進大量的英文繪本及讀本有聲書。

只要善加使用這些有聲書，就可以輕鬆在家打造一個豐富的英語學習環境。

幼兒英語閱讀班的孩子，除了透過小書和童謠接觸早期閱讀外，

每次上課，還會利用字母歌曲"Sing & Read the Alphabet from A to Z"

帶孩子認識字母型狀與字母發音。

每介紹一個字母，就發給孩子一本字母小書，可以讓孩子認識以該字母為首音的單字外，

還可以邊指字邊唱，讓孩子熟悉英文的閱讀是由左到右，由上到下。

這週介紹字母Ll: ladybug, lemon, lemonade, lion, lollipop, lick

最近看了兩本關於用英文繪本打造英文學習環境的書，

今天先分享這本由一位韓國媽媽所寫的「媽媽是我的英文老師」

幼兒英語繪本唱遊班開課近兩個月，孩子已經漸漸適應全英上課模式，

對於聽英文繪本的專注度也提高許多。

其中有位孩子明顯比其他孩子更加適應，因為他有一位很認真的媽媽。

媽媽每次上課都跟著我和孩子一起唱，回家隨時都會再跟孩子一起哼唱學過的兒歌韻文，

也會到圖書館借我上課唸過的繪本，回家唸給孩子聽。
